Model Sehari

Searching for lingerie in malaysia?

I randomly entered a contest in a mall and won a free professional photoshoot. How good is that? And I was allowed to bring a friend! The un-girly DestoyerLing didn't want to go, so BeatRice went with me.

I had a nightmare that I forgot to go for the shoot, because they were booking freelance professional makeup artist and photographer, they will charge $95 to my account if I failed to turn up. And my nightmare nearly came true. The address was Gibbens Street and BeatRice mistakenly took it for Gibbons Street (I guess they ran out of names for their streets).

APPLE COMPUTERS ARE SO SO COOL!!!! (Duh its a fashion studio)

Anyway I digress, the studio was uber professional. We sat down with our art director (HER name is Peters) and went through the forms and conditions of my prize. It turned out one photo would cost me $198. WTF. Should have expected that. But we are under no obligation to buy...phew!! We are also given a $200 voucher BUT only for packages (which is over $1000)...marketing people sarks.

But Peters was really nice and coincidently she was born in Penang, mom met dad (Irish) who was in the AirForce in Langkawi then. Needless to say, she was tall and beautiful, as all Eurasian are. Sigh. She showed us some digitally enhanced photos...the command buttons at the side reads; Lighting, Enhance Breasts, Trim Figure, Resolution...etc. Let's just say ANYBODY can appear on the FHM cover.

So we got to work with our outfits and the FEEL of the shots, we literally brought our whole wardrobe, we were only suppose to choose 3 =D. She basically read our minds, her description to our photographer, in short, GLAMOUROUS!!!

The makeup and hair styling took about 30 minutes. My stylist initially decided to straighten my hair then I saw BeatRice's stylist curling hers, so I changed my mind. On the other hand, BeatRice thought her curls were really messy and saw my stylist straightening mine, and changed her mind. HAHAHAHA...in the end we swapped hairdos.

Our photographer (HIS name is Hilary) is a blardy good poser, he would demo the poses and we were suppose to imitate or improvise.

"Chin-up, nose to the light and eyes towards me...Ready?! Gorgeous!!!"
"Beatrice, where is that sexy smile...bust out! Excellent!"
"Rachel, that shoulder is really original...hold that for me! Great!"

In one shot...
Beatrice: Should I smile?
Hilary : Hell, NO!!!

Yes, we are suppose to pout, look sultry and sexy.
So reminiscent of America's Next Top Model... and the flashes are blinding.
Hahaha...we wouldn't mind working as models...so much fun...
but ALAS we hail from Hobbit Land.

Hahaha...don't we remind you of The Stellars???
So chew kap poser...this was what Hilary asked us to do!

This is what we would prefer.
After the shoot, took this outside my house.

Huggies...
The twin vain sisters.

My housemate Eric was holding the camera and another housemate Vinh was cooking lunch for me because I was rushing for class. I know...late dy still so vain...haha I just didn't want to waste the makeup and hairdo. I'm not buying the gila expensive photos but at least I have something to show =D.
I love my curls, DestoyerLing reckons it adds 5 years to my age, but...hehe...I would be able to pick up Hot Mature Men *wink*...ohh sorry should be *Meoww*
