Tagged!

Searching for lingerie in malaysia?

I got tagged by DestroyerLing to answer some random question: "Why Tuber Warts?"

"Explain the name you've chosen for your blog. When finished, tag the same number of people as there are letters in your name, so that they will have to explain themselves as well."

I'm doing this because I have a trillion assignments due next week and what better time to answer random questions like now?

HoKay! Now we are delving into the mysterious depths of my superior grey matter in choosing blog names...

First, the definition...(for people who never paid attention in Biology)

Tuber(From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia)

Oca tubers

A tuber is a part of a rhizome thickened for use as a storage organ. It is usually, though not always, subterranean, such as a potato. This modified stem forms at the end of a lateral branch. Auxiliary buds are located at the nodes. When the buds develop, adventitious roots and rhizomes form below them.

This should not be confused with a tuberous root such as a sweet potato or Dahlia, which is a similarly swollen root.

In short: Tuber = Potato

It started with me running out of ideas for quirky MSN names...people would start talking to me online by commenting on my various weird names...yes I am that sad...its a desperate cry for help........ .......... .........

....ANYWAYS...one day I have finally decided to come to terms with my couch potato-ness and called myself a potato (TomatoJustin would tell you that I resemble one too...round and fat). In retaliation, I called him a Tomato (Round, fat, red and squishy. Worse.) Then he started getting smart on me and to show his Biology knowledge, changed it to TUBER. And that's not the end of it, he started introducing me as TUBER to his friends....

And where did the Warts part come in you ask?

If anyone has inspected a Potato at close range (you really should if you haven't, to increase your general knowledge), you will find that potatoes have "eyes" like pimple scars. BUT if you leave it long enough, new green shoots will grow out of the eyes to NEW LIFE.....deep.....I know.

And this is how the story ends.
