Snowy Mountains Part 1

Searching for lingerie in malaysia?

Purchasing equipment for the ski trip, leaving in 5 hours, not packed yet.
Ski goggles a friggin' $75,
a pair of cacat waterproof gloves $15,
a gay looking beanie $19.
Last minute shopping, priceless.
For everything else there is Mastercard.

XinWenthePretty is still so chirpy after 6 hours in the bus
and with her feet clomped in Robocop ski boots at 1am.
Have to try for best fit and collect our skis;
poles/snowboards, boots, parka and pants,
with impossibly long queues. And finally check in at 3am.

Wakey wakey at 6.30am, 3 hours of sleep.
Look at moi at the side with the gay long johns
OMG so FAT!!!

45 min drive to the base of the snowy mountains.
With multiple layers of clothes we all look like
penguins with cool equipment.
Waddle waddle...

Cannot imagine how hard to put on gloves
when your fingers are so stiff and cold.

My extremely expensive and gay beanie
that makes my head look like Dr. Brain.
Btw, Vanitha's beanie was $2 at the discount store.
*thumps chest*
All hyped up, even though sleep deprived and
waiting for our FIRST lesson at 9.30am

Our snowboarding instructor, Cal I think.
Nice guy...didn't laugh at me when I fell "superman" on my stomach
and got the wind knocked out of me. Was quite painful.

According to Sean Ping, saya lah semua nombor satu.
Fell superman, Nombor satu.
Fell backwards on my head, Nombor satu juga.
Crashed into a tree, tiada tandingan nombor satu.

Oh yes, crashed into the fence, fell, slid under the fence,
over to the ski run on the other side.
Power betul.
This JonnyKai laughed until cannot stand up.

Us on the baby slope after our first lesson.
Note the red pole/flag behind...its a Toyota snow maker.
There are a few more down the slope.
And JonnyKai loved Toyota so much, he keep crash-hugging them.

Whee...falling down on my ass...AGAIN!

The Milo kids are so good and dem adorable.
They are flying down steep slopes while we land on our asses.

I fell so many times and was so tired that I just lay there in the snow.
A Milo kid came by offering her hand to help me up
and asked in such a cute voice,
"Are you okay? Do you need help?"

Super PaiSeh!!!

See the conveyor belt thingy...that's the Magic Carpet.
That magicks us up the baby slope.
When we could actually stand and board a little,
we took the ski lift here "Easy Does It" to a higher slope.
Runs dem freaking slow.

At first, we thought it was a blue run,
mana tau it was a green and a dem easy one at that.
Ceh...and we were so intimidated by the steep-ness,
we have seen nothing yet.

That was the end of Day 1.

Stay tuned for Day 2.

Preview
Ambitious we were.
Took the ski lift Gunbarrel further up the mountain.
Looks steep.
I thought the station was at the top of the hill.

How wrong was I.
After the hill was THIS!!! (pic below)
Impossibly long way up the mountain.
And I'm starting to worry how am I going to get down.
